Ed Dalton has been working in the recruitment industry since leaving University in 1998. He has been a small cog in the big corporate agencies, balanced by being a bigger cog in the smaller, owner managed, ones; each experience having its own set of benefits and challenges – but always adding colour to how he can deliver his own service that little bit better again. Ed is fundamentally driven by wanting to provide his customers with the best service anyone can expect from a search agent coupled with a determination to identify, represent & introduce only the very best talent the market can offer.
Ed has spent the last 5 years dedicated to the HR market within the South East & London. Prior to this he spent 12 years recruiting IT & Technology professionals for global corporates and UK SMEs, including 7 years working in the City followed by two years managing a recruitment office within the Construction and Engineering field.
Throughout this journey Ed has developed a deep and broad business understanding coupled with an expansive network of contacts and specialists to draw on, consult with and seek on-going referrals and recommendations. These two factors are the lifeline to his business and services.
He is as comfortable being retained on a senior search instruction as he is working on a contingent basis for less senior hires; the key to successful delivery in both models being reliant on the level of trust and understanding he holds with his clients and candidates.
Outside of Recruitment, Ed loves spending time with his young family, camping, holidaying in Cornwall & France, country pubs & English Rugby….and generally trying to make the most of the limited time we get on this planet.
